Ingredients

For 1 serving

  • Sesame seeds20 g
  • Honey1 tablespoon
  • Lemon zest1 g

Contains: sesame,

Method

  1. Have a sheet of slightly damp baking paper ready and keep half a lemon aside. Wash the lemon and grate the zest, only the yellow part.
  2. Heat the honey in a small pan over medium-low heat for 3–4 minutes, without stirring, until it foams and turns amber.
  3. Add the sesame seeds and lemon zest and stir for 2 minutes, until the sesame is golden and the mixture comes away from the bottom.
  4. Tip it straight onto the baking paper and spread it thinly by pressing with the cut half lemon, which doesn't stick. Leave it to cool for 10 minutes, until hard, and cut it into diamonds with a sharp knife while it's still barely warm.
