- Sunflower oil2 teaspoons
- Saltto taste
- Apple1
- Cinnamonto taste
- Soy yogurt100 g
- Sunflower seeds10 g
Contains: soy,
In season: September – February
Method
- Wash and core the apple and chop it; put it in a small pan with 2 tablespoons of water and a pinch of cinnamon, cover and cook over medium-low heat for 8 minutes, until it falls apart, then mash it with a fork.
- Meanwhile peel the potato and grate it on the coarse side of the grater; put it in a clean tea towel and squeeze hard to remove as much water as possible, so the rösti turns crisp. Season it with a pinch of salt.
- Heat the sunflower oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat, make 2 mounds of potato and press them with the spatula into thin, compact discs.
- Cook for 5 minutes without moving them, until the underside is golden and crisp, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes, until the second side is golden too.
- Serve the hot rösti with the apple sauce, the soy yoghurt and the sunflower seeds.
