Ingredients

For 1 serving

  • Quinoa25 g
  • Sesame seeds10 g
  • Flaxseeds5 g
  • Saltto taste

Contains: sesame

Method

  1. Bring a small pan of water to the boil. Rinse the quinoa in a fine sieve under running water to remove its bitterness.
  2. Salt the water, add the quinoa and cook for 15 minutes, until the grains are tender and show their little spiral tails; drain very thoroughly, pressing it in the sieve.
  3. Meanwhile heat the oven to 180 °C (conventional).
  4. Roughly blend the quinoa with the flax seeds and a pinch of salt, then stir in the sesame seeds with a spoon.
  5. Spread the mixture on a sheet of baking paper in a thin, even layer of about 2–3 mm, using a wet spoon.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, until golden and dry; cut it straight away into rectangles and let it cool on the tray so it crisps up.
